The owner of a vehicle imported from an EU Member State is obliged to register the vehicle in Poland within 30 days of the day of its import.

If such a registration document does not prove the right of the driver to use the vehicle, the person is obliged to hold a document confirming that right and present it when requested to do so by a traffic control authority. Therefore, driving licences been issued in EU and EFTA Member States remain valid in Poland.
